Get all decked out with Kelly Bros.

With the weather getting warmer, it’s a time some people think about the possibility of adding a deck to their home. With that in mind, we turned to the experts at Kelly Bros. Home & Design Center in Covington, Kentucky, to get more information about what is available for new decks.

Kelly Bros. carries three primary deck materials:

Deckorators Vault Mesquite decking with cable railing and lattice accent

  1. Deckorators® Vault: This is a wood-alternative decking made with Eovations™ technology to create a strong, lightweight and stable decking product. According to Deckorators: “With patented Eovations technology, it has the industry’s best strength-to-weight ratio. It’s powerful, stable and doesn’t absorb moisture. The Eovations technology inside Deckorators Vault allows the decking to be lightweight, but creates a fiber-like structure inside, similar to wood, giving it unmatched strength.”
  2. Wood-plastic composite (WPC) decking from TimberTech.
  3. Wood-plastic composite (WPC) decking from Fiberon.

Deckorators Vault decking, which uses different colors and streaking for a different appearance, is a great new product at Kelly Bros. that won’t splinter, sag, chalk or crack. And it also has a great warranty. This product carries a 25-year structural and fade and stain warranty, along with a 25-year removal and replacement guarantee – which is unique.

The options for railings at Kelly Bros. range from composite materials from TimberTech and Fiberon to iron and aluminum selections from Fortress and cable railing by Fortress and Feeney.

Not only does Kelly Bros. provide great materials for decking, but their staff also will help advise customers on the best choices for the deck they are constructing. They work with several excellent remodelers and contractors they can refer to complete the project.
