A kiss of contemporary

Anderson kitchen design goes from traditional fare to modern flair

A window above the dry bar offers an abundance of natural light to this kitchen design and the recently added extra room created plenty of opportunity for a round table with seating for four.

These kitchen countertops feature an emerald pearl granite. Nearby paint colors and accessories pick up the blue tones in the granite, adding an extra twinkle of color to the space.

The double oven was moved away from the cooktop to give the cook plenty of room to maneuver.

Vertical pulls are the only hint as to which doors conceal the refrigerator/freezer columns.

The same backsplash design is scattered around this kitchen design, from a large section of it by the dry bar to this small strip above the cooktop.

Collectibles and decorations, that the homeowners change with the seasons, have space to shine in a display area above the dry bar.

Should this homeowner ever tire of her kitchen she can easily change things up by replacing the frosted glass pendant shades that hang over the kitchen island with a different color or shape.
