A quaint English quality

A quaint kitchen remodel makes room for a growing family

Wood beams for the kitchen were salvaged from the homeowner’s uncle’s barn in Zanesville.

Cabinets behind leaded glass panes provide lighted exposure for assorted serving pieces including antique English dinnerware.

The bow window not only looks authentic to the age of the home, but also provides a charming setting for casual meals.

The addition, shown to the left in this photo, blends seamlessly into the older section of the home.

In the hearth room, the painting over the mantel is “Provence Fields” by Marti Steffy. On the far wall hangs “Kent’s Run” by Shauna’s grandfather, Harry Roberts.
