Amarula Sun

A well-rounded outdoor living space suits the owner's adventurous, water-loving lifestyle

The four water features that make up the outdoor living space strategically spill into one another, leading eyes to the pool pavilion positioned at the end of the lap pool.

Twelve 30-foot mature date palms, imported from the California desert, adorn the back yard and serve to provide proportion without blocking the stellar views.

The pool pavilion features a fully functional outdoor kitchen with a Fire Magic Echelon Black Diamond grill, Fusion granite countertops accented by a mosaic tile backsplash, and additional seating.

The 10-foot deep plunge pool spills over a 14-foot wide acrylic see-thru wall and into the inviting lounge pool.

The centerpiece of the pool pavilion is the sunken fire pit that can comfortably accommodate 12 guests.

All of the pool copings, columns, planters and hardscape features were custom made from pre-cast concrete.

The hot tub is located on the second level of the home, offering uninterrupted views of the outdoor space below and the Gulf of Mexico beyond.

Rather than grass, which would be difficult to maintain due to the salt air and constant sun, artificial turf was installed around the travertine pool deck and pavilion.

Water from the hot tub spills down into the plunge pool, which features a grotto and the Amarula Sun insignia.
