Savvy Hyde Park homeowner takes on her fourth kitchen renovation

The paint color of the kitchen cabinets was inspired by this homeowner’s old Toronto kitchen—a favorite that she didn’t need to remodel. “White kitchens never go out of style,” she says.

The weathered beams used in this kitchen design were repurposed from lumber a member of the construction crew collected after taking down a southern Ohio barn.

A charming window over the kitchen sink offers the dishwasher a teasing view of the back yard.

Custom 4-inch shelves built into the back side of the range area of the kitchen island house barware and a collection of glasses. The Zephyr range hood adds a bit of mood lighting, switching from sky blue to royal blue to orange.

This family room offers comfortable seating for everyone, including the family pet! A unique window stretches across the back wall, adding a generous amount of sunlight to the area.
