Cincinnati home design brings together contemporary and minimalistic styles


The horizontal backsplash tiles in this kitchen were a selection inspired by the golds, oranges and reds of a sunset.

The eyebrow dormer window was placed above the front entry and finished in stucco made primarily from locally derived components—an eco-friendly feature.

A spacious half bath sits just off the front foyer of this home. The owners opted for a color scheme inspired by ocean-side getaways with plenty of blues, beiges, tans and the warm colors of a sunset.



Dark wenge wood was used to create a rich contrast next to the bamboo and anigre woods of this kitchen cabinetry.

This family spends a good deal of time on this spacious open-air back patio, eating, reading the paper, watching television, or entertaining.

This dining room table seats eight comfortably, so everyone can communicate at the same time. The room has square windows so the shape seems to fit the room.
