A painting by artist Jolie Harris hangs on the staircase wall. Near the floor, an example of the reglet style baseboard can be seen. Up lighting shows the texture of the silk wallpaper covering a curved wall between the dance floor and the theatre.
A trio of bar stools is grouped around this lower level bar area. Resting near the entertainment island, “Baby” is one member of the mother-daughter pair of Chihuahua mix dogs the family adopted from a local shelter. Her daughter Molly chose not to appear in a photo.
The elliptical pattern seen in this basement carries through from the mosaic tile inset on the floor, to the sliding barn door, to the sconces on the wall in the lounge area.
A raised circle of glass is the perfect spot to place hors d'oeuvres while these homeowners are hosting guests in their lower level.
