Couple brings their love of Lake Cumberland straight to their landscape design
Landscape lighting was used throughout the back yard, including in the trees behind the pond and under the waterfalls.
Natural stones, including oversized 6x4-foot boulders, were used to create the waterfalls along the pond.
The fire pit and pavilion glow in the evening light, creating an inviting atmosphere behind the home.
The 44,000-gallon pond has filter systems to catch debris, as well as biosafe chemicals to keep the algae down.
Walkways winding throughout the back yard are comprised of concrete pavers mixed with natural flagstone.
The outdoor kitchen in the pavilion features plenty of counter space for food preparation, as well as a refrigerator, sink and large grill.
Oversized potted planters filled with greenery and colorful flowers are positioned throughout the back yard for visual interest.
Rustic bulletwood was used on the ceiling of the pavilion, which is a durable choice for Ohio’s changing seasons.
The pond includes plenty of space for swimming, as well as a tanning shelf that is perfect for lounge chairs and a sandy beach entry.
