Organic in nature

Kitchen remodel blends contemporary elements with natural materials

The colors in this Renoir Blue granite countertop have a movement that evokes flowing water.

This kitchen design includes both a table with seating and stools around the counter, offering something for every dining option.

This kitchen design features cooktop in the island so the cook can enjoy the view of the nearby lake. The hood was selected for its high power and rectilinear lines. Left of the cooktop is a Wolf microwave drawer.

Comfy stools stretch the span of this curved kitchen island, adding one more reason to stay and hang out.

The support pieces for the counter on the kitchen island are inverted pyramids covered in a series of stacked wood trim with the same espresso finish as the cabinets.

This stack of drawers is actually one drawer and one cabinet covered by a dummy front to add visual interest.

For convenience, the garbage disposal is controlled by an air switch, which is mounted flush in the countertop near the prep sink.

The homeowners’ pets, Lincoln and Maverick, take a break by the fire. The original painted brick fireplace surround was replaced with tile. The mantle is limestone, painted to complement the color of the walls.
