A designer/musician and his hair-stylist wife combine their creative brains to totally transform the interior and exterior of their Mexican War Street home.
This white kitchen design is warm and inviting with bursts of red accent colors and a cozy computer nook for the homeowners' young son to play while his parents cook.
One of the more unique features of this home is the swing that is incorporated in the dining room design. Not only is it a great conversation piece, the homeowner's small son Kingston always has something to keep him entertained--even on a rainy day.
Working with concrete gave the homeowners the freedom to create custom countertops that also double as a wine rack-all constructed as one, seamless piece.
An addition was added to the rear of this house before the current homeowners purchased the property. The current owners then decided to give it a modern touch by adding a garage door to open the sitting area up to their outdoor living space.
This outdoor space creates a very different kind of patio. Grass peeps up between the stones, one of which houses a unique fire pit, and the chairs rest on gravel rather than some sort of stone or wood, lending to the overall Zen vibe.
"People either love it or they hate it," the homeowner says of the complete transformation of her home design. The once traditional, brick, row house is now a vision of modern, rustic style.
Due to this homeowners profession, this home design puts a new twist on home office with this music room.
To keep this space as roomy and comfortable as possible, this master bathroom features an oversized shower.
