The family table

Tampa builder works to improve kitchens and bring families back to the heart of their homes

During their kitchen remodel, these homeowners replaced their old L-shaped island with one large island and upgraded all of their appliances.

Custom drawers and cabinets allow this homeowner to store spices and other cooking supplies right next to her cooktop.

This homeowner's five-burner cooktop and double oven make preparing large dinners a simple task.

Dining room chairs with dark blue cushions-a color also seen on the nearby window seat-help to add color to this white kitchen design.

The ventilation of this space did not allow for an overhead hood, so a pop-up vent raises and lowers from the kitchen island.

Due to a few smart tweaks by the builder, these homeowners got a kitchen island with seating, and not just with gathering space.

The crown jewel of this space is the custom kitchen island--in the homeowner's favorite shade of blue.

The large kitchen island is a perfect place for the children to work on homework or snack while their mother cooks.
