Design overhaul transforms a dated interior and exterior into a rustic retreat

The gazebo tucked into the woods surrounding this home is a perfect place to relax and clear the mind.

One of the most unique aspects of this kitchen design is the tile backsplash seem just over the sink. A colorful mosaic that shows a moose and blends in seamlessly with the rest of the home.

During this kitchen remodel, the designers reconfigured the space so that the informal dining area extends into the family room, while the main cooking area remains hidden.

This eat-in kitchen features light fixtures with moose antlers, which contribute to the rustic atmosphere that the homeowners were looking to create.

An unused formal living room and dining room were reconfigured to create this new, relaxed dining space.

All of the functionality of this kitchen design lies in the slim galley between the den and the dining room.

Despite the small square footage, this galley-like kitchen design is all about high performance with an oven wit ha microwave on top, plenty of storage space for pots and pans and convenient pullout drawers.

These homeowners don't need to worry about pruning and planting, their landscape is gorgeous enough on its own.
