Wave of nostalgia

A stunning remodel brings a 1920 home back to its former glory, with some modern touches thrown in

Marble countertops, an apron-front sink, and brass hardware and plumbing fixtures establish the elegant farmhouse aesthetic in the oversized gourmet kitchen.

Cement tile was also used for the flooring in the laundry room/mudroom space, adding a surprising element of character and charm.

One of the home’s original fireplaces, adorned with the fleur-de-lis accent, serves as the perfect backdrop to the cozy breakfast nook.

The master bathroom is adorned with handmade cement wall tiles imported from Mexico, which feature the fleur-de-lis design that can be seen throughout the home.

Beautiful black and white marble flooring was installed in the main formal entry, setting the tone for the entire home.

The formal dining room, which features restored molding and woodwork, easily accommodates 12 guests.

A spiral staircase, large sconce light fixtures and cast iron and brass railings allow the new balcony to blend in perfectly with the existing house.

The original fireplace and hardwood flooring seen in the living room were restored to preserve the classic nature of the home.
