Welcome home

Luxury takes center stage at 2014 Homearama

With three active boys these homeowners wanted a lower level that was both durable and beautiful, so they used a wood-look porcelain tile for the flooring because it can withstand heavy traffic and won't dent or scratch.

This sunken home theater offers a massive projection television screen and individual motorized leather seats with beverage cups integrated into each chair.

This inground pool, easily accessible off of the lower level, offers everything in the way of sun and fun with a unique sunbathing shelf for those who wish to simply kick back and relax.

The interior designer who worked with this family decided to forego window treatments, and instead opted to let the huge windows mesh the indoors and outdoors together.

This eye-catching bar features stunning Cobra Gold granite countertops and glass mosaic tile backsplash, which complements the granite without being overbearing.

This great room invokes a warm, inviting appeal thanks to its 18-foot ceiling and large windows that span the entire back of the room.

This full-service home bar overlooks the nearby home theater and was designed to accommodate adults and children alike with a dishwasher for easy clean up and a beverage cooler for casual soirees or just for when the kids are hanging out and watching a movie.

These homeowners created a quaint outdoor living space complete with a stacked stone fireplace that is just perfect for casual family gatherings.

This dining room, with it's remarkable tray ceiling, table and chairs and elegant window treatments, is the epitome of a formal space, but also embraces a more modern style with it's open transition to the kitchen.

To help this kitchen design walk the fine line between old-world and modern, the interior designer who worked with these homeowners decided on large 4x16 inch tile which helps to balance out the nearby hearth and the espresso island and the dark walnut stain of the hickory hardwood floors.
