Past inspires future with home design ideas
Written by: Christopher Lawton
Just 45 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, in the heart of Fayette County lays the picturesque and historic community of Uniontown. Set in and around the gorgeous Laurel Mountains, Uniontown’s history, and historic name were founded on the same date that our Declaration of Independence was drafted—July 4, 1776.
That history is one of the things that homeowners Rick and Kathy Rafail love about their community. They also love the historic structures and home design ideas, many of which date nearly back to its founding, that dot the picturesque landscape.
