FeedPittsburgh Kitchen Design Contest
Housetrends magazine Pittsburgh is proud to partner with Don’s Appliances, Hillmon Appliance Distributors and Vangura in sponsoring the second annual Pittsburgh Kitchen Design Competition.
The Competition is open to local designers for projects completed within the time frame of May 1, 2012 – April 30, 2013. The kitchen must feature a minimum of one appliance from Don’s Appliances and/or Hillmon Appliance Distributors, and one countertop from Vangura. Designers are required to submit at least three photos of their completed design, as well as all floor plan and elevation drawings. “Before photos” of the kitchen are also welcomed.
All entries will be judged by a representative from each organization: BAMP, NKBA Pittsburgh and ASID PA West on the following criteria:
- Creativity
- Innovation
- Visual Appeal
The winner of the competition will be chosen by June 1, 2013. The lucky designer will receive a feature story in Housetrends magazine in 2013 and photography valued for up to $2500 from Housetrends magazine in 2013. The winner will also receive a credit certificate equal to the value of the purchases from both Hillmon/Don’s Appliances and Vangura (maximum $2500).
