Meet and greet: Jason Heckman

The owner of Re-Bath of Dayton shares his insight on the bathroom remodeling industry

  • Housetrends
Owner, Re-Bath of Dayton

Q Embarking on a remodel can be daunting for the average homeowner. What are clients most concerned with when it comes to bathroom remodeling?

A We understand that customers are concerned about having someone in the house that they can trust, as well as a company that is going to be around in the future if they need them again. We want to be called back for that second job and we understand that they want a job done right the first time, in a timely manner, using quality products, and with as little mess as possible. It is always our goal to be completely upfront about the entire process so there aren’t any surprises.

Q As baby boomers head toward retirement, do you anticipate more “aging in place” bathroom remodels and what are some of the most important design elements they need to consider?

A Accessibility is very important. As people get older the chance of falling is greater. Strategically placed grab bars and zero or low threshold entries for wheelchair accessibility are great options to consider. Other considerations are ease of cleaning, longevity, and maintenance free.

Q What are three words that describe your Re-Bath operation?

A Friendly, Professional and Growing

Q What makes Re-Bath stand out in the bathroom remodeling industry?

A Re-Bath is the largest bathroom remodeler in the country with a complete bathroom solution. We can take your bathroom back to the studs and completely rebuild it. The products that we offer have lifetime warranties and are transferable to a new homeowner in the event of a sale.

Q What should homeowners look for when choosing a bathroom remodeler?

A They should look for a company that is pro-active and always works to improve the customer experience.
