New home classic in nature

A spacious new build offers plenty of architectural eye candy

The dark custom cabinetry in the kitchen was stained to match the wood molding seen throughout the house.

The custom kitchen includes a long peninsula island for eating, as well as a center prep island that features a lighter cream finish on the base cabinet.

The large three-sided limestone fireplace can be seen from every vantage point thanks to the open floor plan.

The domed ceiling adorning the staircase serves as the perfect backdrop to the massive chandelier and is finished with a warm, shimmering copper finish.

The 19,500 square-foot house features old-world inspired architecture, such as the eye-catching turret, and a mixture of natural stone and brick.

The freestanding soaking tub sits in the heart of the master bathroom, which also features a stacked stone wall that hides the walk-through shower.

The home theater screen in the lower level features an LED backlight kit that can change colors with the touch of a button on a remote control.

The pavilion, located just beyond the hearth room and kitchen, features an inviting seating and dining area, plus a full outdoor kitchen and fireplace.

The outdoor living space includes a rectangular swimming pool, a separate hot tub, and a covered lanai area.

The massive wood front entry door is hand carved and features a large arched transom overhead.

A side table in the hearth room didn’t blend in with the surrounding décor, so the wood was restained to match the woodwork in the house. The top was refinished with stone plaster with a mica and gold leaf inlay.

The rich wide plank hardwood flooring was carried into the master bedroom, which includes a four-poster bed facing a gas fireplace with a stone surround.

The lower level entertaining space offers fun for all ages thanks to plenty of seating options, an Irish pub, a wine bar and a game area.

The groin vault ceiling in the formal dining room features soft champagne and gold metallic plaster with a bronze glaze.

Varying ceiling heights and architectural treatments were used to differentiate each space in the open floor plan.

The limestone fireplace hearth features a warm brown stain with copper hues that can withstand the heat from the fire.

The master bedroom focal wall features a multi-colored metallic plaster with a glass-bead waterfall in silver and gold.

The focal wall in the great room is a soft tone-on-tone metallic background with a matte stencil. The stencil complements the detail in the mirror frame.

All of the niches throughout the house, including this one in the breakfast nook, include a metallic plaster with a gold glass-bead stencil design.
