A home renovation results in this couple's dream home

The couple found their Mid-Century dinette set in California. Their hutch was a Craigslist find that they refurbished with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.

The custom-built kitchen island was painted the same color as the beams in the family room to tie the spaces together.

The family room once featured dark wood, but the space was painted shades of gray and white to brighten it up. The ceiling beams were painted Sherwin-Williams’ Westchester Gray to maintain a warm, cozy vibe.

This front entry area is now completely open to the family room and adjoining kitchen and is accented by a vintage table and lamp.

This screened-in patio offers a variety of gathering spaces, from the cozy couch to the casual dining table.

A wall that once divided the entry hall and family room was removed to create an open, airy feeling.

This back yard boasts a screened-in pool and hot tub. The surrounding patio offers plenty of seating areas.

Funky blue throw pillows add a shock of fun color to this otherwise neutral living room design.
