Rural setting establishes a family-friendly retreat

Most outdoor kitchens simply include a refrigerator and perhaps a grill to provide easy access to snacks during parties, but this kitchen went far beyond that with a pantry, grill, warming oven, icemaker, refrigerator and a sink.

Landscape lighting ideas for this home include strategically placed lighting which adds a soothing ambiance to the back yard after the sun goes down.

Outdoor kitchen ideas often sit somewhat apart from a nearby pool or hot tub, but this one boldly faces the pool, giving those sitting underneath the pavilion a gorgeous view of the water.

Fun outdoor lighting ideas include something like this series of laminar fountains that change colors.

This landscape lighting adds just the right amount of light to the deck area, creating a soft glow that allows guests to maneuver the area without blinding them with too bright lights.

Patio designs generally follow the same format and vary slightly depending on the whims of the owner, but these homeowners went out on an edge and created a separate smoking patio, complete with table and chairs set, and also three sitting walls.

The outdoor décor in this area flows seamlessly form the outdoor kitchen to the outdoor living and dining rooms, which all share one cozy space.

Multiple patio furniture sets abound in this large pavilion, built for entertainment purposes.
