Down on the farm

Gardens bring a community together
Large vegetable gardens provide an abundance of produce each year, so much that they share it with neighbors and others in the community.

Colorful flower bed ideas

Situated on two lots totaling ten acres on the west side of Oakwood, the house has 7,500 square feet of warm, comfortable living space – with interior displays that might make your jaw drop. Designed by the Colorado firm Hagman Architects, the house sprang from one of the homeowner’s fondness for Colorado. “I vacationed there with my family when I was 11 and went back several times,” John says. “I love the Colorado look.”

Landscape rocks create a gathering space

The grounds of the home are quite lovely and are enjoyed often, such as at the Gray’s annual spring party which welcome 300+ guests and their families for an afternoon of fun among the 160,000 daffodils at The Farm.

Gardens bring a community together

On the property there are spacious flower and vegetable gardens, so large, in fact, that Mj and John share the bounty of their gardens with friends and neighbors.

A garden keeps a community well fed

The garden grows everything from round tomatoes to plump pumpkins.

Garden fencing keeps the critters out

A beautiful stone archway leads in to the fenced off garden, turning required fencing into something pleasing to look at.

Landscape design keeps a home neat and trim

The extensive grounds are enjoyed by all members of the family, including the homeowner’s six grandchildren who visit often.
