Slow cooker brisket tacos

Try taking Taco Tuesday (or Wednesday...) up a notch

  • Housetrends

Gina Miller, our creative director, recently discovered the benefits of beef brisket. She prepared these tacos and received rave reviews. Her recipe is shared here.

INGREDIENTS
3 lbs. beef brisket
1 1/2 cups of your favorite salsa (I like to use the Fresh Cilantro Salsa from Sam’s Club, YUM!)
1/2 packet of taco seasoning
Juice of 2 limes
Fresh cilantro
Flour or corn tortillas (your preference)
Your favorite Mexican blend cheese

DIRECTIONS
Place the brisket in your crock pot.
Squeeze the limes over your brisket then add taco seasoning and salsa on top.
Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4.5 hours.
Shred brisket with juices in crock pot.
Warm the tortillas.
Serve on the tortillas topped with the cheese, cilantro and anything else your heart desires!
